I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology and I’m also a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association and the Australian Association for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Throughout my psychology career, I have worked in various sectors of the community from child and youth mental health services to aged care. I have worked in a Behavioural Disorders Research Program at UTS and have spent time working as a volunteer counsellor for Lifeline.
I am highly experienced in helping with issues such as:

- Stress (such as work-related stress)
- Adjustment difficulties (such as changes in life stage)
- Anxiety (including panic attacks, social anxiety, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder and generalised anxiety)
- Grief and loss
- Parenting issues
- Child, Adolescent and Family issues
- Relationship issues
Scarlett Gill’s psychological therapies
I mainly use cognitive-behavioural therapy, however I work closely with my clients to identify the most suitable approach. I incorporate techniques and strategies from other therapies such as acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, dialectical-behaviour therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy.
